Thank you for your professional interest in offering The Gonzalez Protocol®. The Nicholas Gonzalez Foundation is a research and education 501 (c) 3 charity foundation. We are interested in working with a select group of doctors who share our values and have the medical experience to excel in offering this unique protocol.
In May of 2020, we received more than 100 applications for our first Educational Seminar. Our faculty then spent 18 months interviewing, selecting and educating our first group of Gonzalez Guardians. Many of these applicants had relevant professional experience yet one of our primary selection criterion was evidence of compassion. As Dr. Gonzalez’s wife for 15 years, Mary Beth knew that one of the reasons why so many of his patients succeeded was because they knew he LOVED them. Dr. Gonzalez’s patients understood that he would do his very best to help them. This spiritual connection between a doctor and patient is integral to this type of healing.
Now that these carefully selected doctors are practicing the protocol, we are deeply devoted to their success. Our Foundation has shifted into a support mode for the doctors and their patients. Many of Dr. Gonzalez’s past patients have sought out the care of the Gonzalez Guardians. These doctors have agreed to an on-going relationship with our research and educational foundation, and we have several systems in place to review patient files, provide guidance and offer on-going education. And we offer health coaching to new patients from past Dr. Gonzalez patients who are certified health coaches.
The Nicholas Gonzalez Foundation plans to conduct a seminar again, but we have not yet determined our timing. Developing our initial curriculum took 4 years as we first studied the successes and failures of Dr. William Donald Kelley’s training attempts. Our 2021 Educational Seminar was offered to M.D.s, D.O.s and N.D.s (from a 4 year U.S. Medical School). We required a significant time, financial and contractual commitment from these doctors. Our devoted faculty collaborated for several years to write a comprehensive 700 page manual/textbook for our Educational Seminar. The seminar consisted of 15 months of independent study and 70 hours/10 days of in person sessions in the United States with both written and oral exams. The doctors involved in our Educational Seminar also committed to putting themselves on this rigorous protocol.
We are only offering this new paradigm of medicine to those who are committed to practice it as Dr. Gonzalez did so they can achieve similar outstanding outcomes with their patients. Creating an individualized Gonzalez protocol for a patient is complex and fortunately we had thousands of Dr. Gonzalez’s detailed patient files to guide us and help troubleshoot difficult cases. Plus his many interviews, lectures and books. It is unfortunate that Dr. Gonzalez is not here to led this effort. Sadly, he didn’t train doctors in his office during his lifetime, but he didn’t know that he was going to run out of time.
Doing this work properly requires intense study and a willingness to learn new principles to fully understand his methodology. We are utilizing the same diagnostic tools and procedures that Dr. Gonzalez implemented in his office and in fact, his same office staff are working with us now to screen prospective patients and guide new patients on this path.
