About the Foundation
Preserving Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez, MD's nutritional healing legacy
Carrying Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez's Healing Legacy Forward
The Nicholas Gonzalez Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit research and education public charity, founded in 2015 following the passing of Nicholas Gonzalez, MD. Our mission is to keep his life-changing work alive — today and for generations to come.
From 1987 until his death in 2015, Dr. Gonzalez treated patients through his private New York City practice using individualized nutritional enzyme protocols for cancer, degenerative diseases, and general health. The Foundation preserves that legacy by educating and certifying the doctors who now carry his protocols forward, making them available to patients and practitioners around the world.
We share Dr. Gonzalez's belief in the proactive pursuit of vitality and the body's remarkable ability to heal itself — and we invite you to join us.
Our Mission
We fuel Dr. Gonzalez's legacy by preserving, promoting, and propagating his holistic protocols, and by advancing education on the treatment and prevention of cancer and other degenerative diseases.
We honor his lifetime of wisdom in natural therapeutics through:
- General education and public outreach
- Professional certification of physicians in The Gonzalez Protocol®
- Patient treatment and support
- Research, scientific studies, and publications
- Workshops, retreats, and conferences
- Documentaries
- Collaboration with other natural-health organizations
- Education for medical professionals who wish to integrate The Gonzalez Protocol® into their own practice
Our Vision
To inspire, guide, and educate both healing professionals and patients as they discover and adopt effective nutritional protocols for disease prevention and treatment — and to bring that hope to as many people as possible.
A Commitment to Transparency
We are proud to have earned the Candid GuideStar 2026 Platinum Seal of Transparency — the highest level of recognition Candid offers, reflecting our commitment to accountability and the responsible stewardship of every gift entrusted to us.
