Prayers and Spiritual Guidance:
"Healing is 100% physical, 100% emotional and 100% spiritual." - Dr. William Donald Kelley
In Dr. Gonzalez's experience, most patients on The Gonzalez Protocol® will benefit from dealing with emotional and spiritual issues as they are very important parts of the healing process. He came to realize that the main reason why people don't get well (which was hard for him to accept because he was trained as an orthodox immunologist and believed that everything reduced to science) is a lack of faith. If you don't have faith, it creates anxiety which turns on the sympathetic nervous system and you get too acid.
Meditation, prayer, and positive thinking actually neurochemically block sympathetic firing, and instead stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system into action. The parasympathetic nerves, when firing, enhance digestion, the absorption and utilization of nutrients, and the building up of tissues, rather than breaking down. These “relaxation techniques,” from a purely physiologically perspective, do lead to a healing response.
Dr. Gonzalez's own observations support that patients who are able to maintain an optimistic outlook are more likely to do well than patients who are fearful and negative. Hope and optimism, freedom from fear and resentment, peace of mind, love and joy will help to create an environment in which healing can take place.

A Prayer for my Doctors
Almighty God, my heavenly Father, as you have always sent angels to do your healing work, so you have sent men and women as instruments of your healing now. Bless the doctors and all who attend to me, that their knowledge and skill might bring the healing you desire. Grant me the confidence to know that all my days are in your care. Through Jesus Christ, my Lord. Amen.
A Prayer When in Pain
Lord Jesus Christ, you have known pain. By your patience you have given an example of faith and obedience to your Father's will. In the pain which I now experience, allow your presence, strengthen my faith when I despair, and give me the assurance of your eternal love for me. Amen.
A Prayer for Renewal
O Lord, how unfailing are your blessings. Your mercies are new to me every day. I give you thanks for the renewing of my health; for the relief from my pain and worry. Continue your healing within me and grant that I, growing in strength and faith, return in your time to the work you have given me to do for you. Through Jesus Christ, my Lord. Amen.
A Prayer for Healing
O God of all hope, as I begin this new day I rest myself in you. Whatever might happen during this day is in your hands. Strengthen me in my weakness, give skill to those who minister to me and grant me confidence and faith in your healing power. Through Jesus Christ, my Lord, I pray. Amen.

Buddhist Mantra: Brahma Viharas
I Am With You Still
And If I Go...
And if I go while you're still here...
Know that I still live on, vibrating to a different measure,
behind a thin veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me so you must have faith.
I wait the time when we can soar together again, both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to the fullest.
And when you need me, just whisper my name in your heart,
...I will be there.

So Do Not Despair...
We are in "times of trouble" to be followed by the light of peace, the calm of hope realized, the transcendence of truth.
Not now, not yet, but soon.
We are in the Suntaleia, the Greek term for Consummation of the Ages. A time of confusion, political strife, hatred of truth, governmental oppression and the rise toward one world dictatorship.
Then comes the destruction of truth's enemies, the restoration of the earth and recognition for those that gallantly stood firm for the truth and it's always righteous application.
So do not despair, it isn't necessary to do so, the plan is falling into place, these times are but the birth pangs of the glorious world that will follow.
