Stephen Levine, PhD: Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez's Glandulars
We are thankful for the opportunity to have worked collaboratively with Dr. Stephen Levine for more than 40 years. That collaboration continues. Dr. Levine is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of The Nicholas Gonzalez Foundation, and a man Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez recognized as an authority on supplement quality.
Dr. Levine attests that:
“After years of consulting for major dietary supplement suppliers regarding supplement quality, I founded my own supplement company in 1979 and it was recognized in the scientific and medical communities for product excellence. In the late 1980s, I met Nicholas Gonzalez, MD. From my perspective, his medical practice was achieving astonishing results. Dietary supplements were a core component of his treatment regimen. Dr. Gonzalez was very exacting in his requirements for the supplements for his patients. I was so impressed by Dr. Gonzalez's acumen, and by his supplements, that I became his patient for optimization of health and disease prevention. The clinical outcomes from his patients, from what we could discern, were so good that I was happy to license his glandular formulations in 2009.”
Dr. Levine explains further that “I quickly recognized that Dr. Gonzalez was one of the world's finest doctors, and a brilliant scientist. His education and training were impeccable. His intelligence was stratospheric. But what distinguished him at least as much was his devotion, both to his patients and to his supplement formulations. And it was not until the late 1990s that Dr. Gonzalez was convinced by immense clinical data that his supplement formulations needed no further refinement. Dr. Gonzalez passed away in 2015. His formulations remain as good as it gets. They include porcine pancreatic enzymes and other glandular products, of which he remains the pre-eminent developer.”
