The Enzyme Treatment of Cancer and Its Scientific Basis
Available at New Spring Press or at Amazon
Dr. John Beard’s study of the mammalian placenta led him to the conclusion that in its early incarnation, this tissue behaves much as a cancerous tumor. He then proposed that pancreatic enzymes regulate placental development, and in turn represent the body’s main defense against cancer. In 1911, he published The Enzyme Treatment of Cancer to favorable reviews. Though in his lifetime the scientific community never embraced his ideas about cancer – he died in relative obscurity in 1924 – in recent years, evidence from molecular biology and stem cell research increasingly confirms many of Dr. Beard’s fundamental precepts. This historic work is now available again, in a carefully recreated reproduction with a foreword by Dr. Gonzalez.

False Hope: Bone Marrow Transplantation for Breast Cancer
Available at Amazon
The title False Hope refers not to some “fringe” alternative therapy, but to one of the most highly promoted conventional oncology treatments of the 1990s, bone marrow transplantation, as used for women with metastatic or poor prognosis breast cancer. For more than a decade this highly toxic therapy was widely used for women with breast cancer despite the lack of evidence that the therapy worked at all, and though the treatment killed up to 25% of patients undergoing the procedure. In 1995, the Journal of Clinical Oncology published an influential article “proving” the therapy worked better than conventional chemotherapy. However, the article proved to be a total fraud, rushed into publication because it suited the wishful thinking of the oncology profession. This devastating account of bone marrow transplantation’s rise and fall from grace for women with breast cancer, written by two orthodox physicians, a lawyer, and a political scientist, should shatter anyone’s belief that traditional academic oncologists are all driven only by such noble concerns as scientific truth and patient safety.
Nutrition and Physical Degeneration
Available through the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation or at Amazon.
This book is one of the classics in the nutritional literature. In the 1920s, Dr. Weston Price and his wife traveled to 14 different countries and some of the most remote areas in the world investigating the health of the local populations. When people followed traditional dietary practices, eating their indigenous foods, Dr. Price observed perfect dental arches, minimal tooth decay, high immunity to infectious disease such as tuberculosis and degenerative diseases such as cancer, and overall excellent health. When these people adopted more “modern” industrialized and processed foods such as white flour, white sugar, refined vegetable oils and canned goods, signs of degeneration quickly became quite evident. Dental caries, deformed jaw structures, crooked teeth, arthritis and a low immunity to tuberculosis became rampant amongst them. This book includes hundreds of photos that document the results of Dr. Price’s years of traveling. Since few traditional cultures still exist today, this study could never be duplicated, and modern science is only slowly rediscovering the truths Dr. Price uncovered decades ago.

Enzyme Nutrition

During the 1930s and 1940s, Dr. Howell – often called the “father of food enzymes” – investigated the value of raw foods, particularly the enzymes available in raw foods. In his meticulous research, he showed that the enzymes in foods are as essential to our health as the other well-known classes of nutrients, such as the vitamins, minerals and trace elements. In his books, he explains that the processing of food, particularly its heating, destroys these valuable enzymes, and helps explain the epidemic of degenerative disease that began in the 20th century.
